Chickapeakray, Miss Shakira and My Lady Link are the leading players here and Chickapeakray may be able to follow up a recent success. Miss Shakira hails from a yard in form and does have three wins to her credit but those victories have come on ground not as testing than this and her recent efforts have looked a little one paced. My Lady Link is respected from the Venetia Williams camp and has won two of her last three starts. She may just need the run though on her first run for sixteen months and would prefer better ground. Chickapeakray has won on the last three occasions he has encountered give in the ground and ran away with a decent handicap hurdle at Worcester last time. He holds Miss Shakira on that form and Chickapeakray can score on ground his main rivals may well not like, despite an eleven pound rise in the handicap.
