This doesn't look to be a great contest on paper but Prestbury Knight can make use of race fitness to see off Sunset Light (if taking the engagement) and Bar Gayne. Nigel Twiston-Davies' representative was highly tried in two bumpers at Cheltenham before finishing third in a muddling affair at Newton Abbott. There will need to be an above-average performer in the field to beat him on this occasion. Sunset Light has to be respected from the Colin Tinkler camp. Owner George Ward has had a number of well-backed winners in this sphere this term and the market is duly watched. Bar Gayne hails from a yard with a decent strike rate in bumpers. He is related to a number of Irish winners and should be respected. The Randy Bishop is related to some useful flat handicappers and is trained at a very shrewd establishment while Kingtobee has to be respected from a stable who landed a touch here in a similar event a couple of weeks ago. Prestbury Knight is selected in the finale.
