Celioso might be able to follow up his Sedgefield win at the expense of Serious Position. The selection caused a little bit of a surprise when scoring that day but has a chance to prove it was not just a one-off. This is probably going to be tougher though. The main danger seems to be Serious Position, who won a novice hurdle last time but the plan was always to go chasing after that run - and he is certainly bred to jump fences. Turning to the others, Grouse Hall has had only two runs since October 2001, and none for 326 days. There is no doubt that the best of his form gives him good claims but, all things considered, might need this run. Sorely Missed has a bit to find on what we know but Shafts Chance was in the process of running a good race when falling five fences from home at Plumpton last time. Blinkers are on for the first time today in a bid to help her concentrate. Master Club Royal is lightly raced for a seven-year-old and the pick of his form gives him claims. However, they have come on easier going and, accordingly, he is overlooked today. Celioso is not and gets our vote.
