Verdict

Another open affair on paper but the confident vote goes to County Derry. The ten year old was a good second behind Earthmover last time out under similar conditions. There is nothing of Earthmover's class in this race and he will be hard to beat. Bold Statement was a fair second behind Macgeorge last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Real Value could also go well but his best efforts are with much more cut in the ground. Prate Box would have a chance on his best form but he has become disappointing of late. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
