    Verdict

Kouros des Obeaux, Ballywalter and Rose Tina are the three for the shortlist here, and the confident vote goes to the latter. Rose Tina was a good second behind Phar From a Fiddle last time at Fontwell and a reproduction of that effort here would make her hard to beat. Kouros des Obeaux has shown pieces of form in France and is a typical Martin Pipe import, and he will be very interesting if there is market support for him. Ballywalter was well down the field behind Gigs Gambit last time but should succeed in beating the other runner Sorely Missed over the finishing line. Although there are only four runners this is an interesting race and the Pipe runner should be watched in the market for any support, but Rose Tina has solid form and gets the vote.
