Verdict
This looks a very decent event for the track but RANGITOTO is taken to extend his winning run. He hardly put a foot wrong when making a successful start to his chasing career at Wincanton and, though facing stronger opposition here, is open to plenty of improvement. Master Fiddle was hampered early on at Newbury on his fencing bow but was still in touch when unseating his rider and should be winning soon, while Time For Spring was conceding plenty of weight to the winner when only beaten half a length at Ludlow last month, though has been raised a further 5lb since. Balzaccio won at Fontwell and Huntingdon in October but has been found out in this grade in the past and a bigger danger may be Vino Griego. Second to the progressive The Minack at Ascot last time, he races off the same mark here though is still a maiden over fences after nine starts.
