    Verdict

A large field goes to post for the first on the card but on closer inspection not many can be give a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Belcaro,Ark Admiral, Champetre, and Halland and the nomination goes to Belcaro. The selection was a fair sixth on his debut behind Lacdoudal that horse has since franked the form. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat.Ark Admiral rates the main danger he is from a top yard and he won at up to 10 furlongs on the flat. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he has definite place claims. Champetre is another worthy of respect he was a fair third on his debut in a seller behind Devote but this looks tougher and for that reason he is opposed. Halland was a fair sort on the flat and is another that has place claims if he takes to hurdling but he looks to have his own ideas about the game so for the winner we return to Belcaro.
