Java Sea was a progressive hurdler last term and is an interesting recruit to the larger obstacles. He looks sure to go well, but in Fiori he faces a classy rival. The latter was much the better over hurdles and made a fine start to his chasing career when disposing of dual chase winner Pertino at Kelso. He looks the sort to run up a sequence at this time of year and can prove too strong for these. It is interesting that Henrietta Knight has chosen to run the five-year-old Broken Dream over fences so soon and he deserves respect.
