Verdict

It is hard to look beyond Burning Truth, who was so impressive when making all here last week. He faces similar conditions here and although 7lbs higher now, that doesn't look enough to stop him. Hot Shots has been in good form of late, but was well held off this mark at Ludlow behind Chief Cashier. Zurs, although consistent, finds winning difficult, while Captain Zinzan is another who has gone a long time without getting his head in front. Tissifer is a tough and genuine sort and is worthy of respect as is Irish import Ballykettrail, who has his first outing for the powerful Jonjo O'Neill yard. The main threat could come from Ragdale Hall, who will be much more at home over this trip, having failed to stay at Ascot last time.
