    Verdict

Girl Of Pleasure has taken well to hurdling and clearly goes well here, but she will not find things easy under her penalty. She has nothing to fear from Rodiak, who was 12 lengths behind her here last month. Pat Haslam, whose Limbo Lad was just denied here by Girl Of Pleasure runs Dazzling Rio. He was the better of the pair on the flat and he must go close, especially as the champion takes the mount, but he may have to play second fiddle to another newcomer in the shape of Hurricane Coast. Tim Easteby's charge is a half-brother to Champion Hurdle winner Royal Gait, so there is every chance he will prove to be much better over hurdles than he was on the flat.
