      Verdict

      Hora was turned over at a short price here on Tuesday and this could lie between Karmest and Contra Mundum with the latter selected. The selection faces no easy task under a double penalty back in a handicap from his revised mark but he has been very impressive since returning to the Flat after a spell hurdling and may prove up to the task. Karmest is unpenalised for her win in an apprentice handicap over course and distance last time. She's clearly on good terms with herself and had plenty up her sleeve that day but this looks a good deal more competitive. Good Cause may improve for stepping up in trip but Starcross Maid has more obvious claims and is respected but we'll keep the faith with Contra Mundum.
