This will not take too much winning and Hunting Pink is given the nod ahead of Marita and Biscar Two. Hughie Morrison's filly has run consistently well in this level and was runner up in a similar race over the seven furlong trip here last week, with today's opposition possibly even weaker she looks to have a great chance of landing her first victory. Marita was well beaten on her only previous visit to Southwell but that was in a much better race. She has since run with credit in two sellers at Wolverhampton and does get in here with a fighting weight. The dark horse of the contest could be Biscar Two who is trained by Richard Whitaker. This son of Daggers Drawn has shown very little in three ordinary maidens but it would be no surprise to see this one in the shake up in his first venture into selling company. So not a race to place the mortgage but Hunting Pink does hold very strong claims.
