Burley Firebrand has enough overall form to take this, with Ellovamul and Night Warrior candidates for the frame. In a weak contest, Burley Firebrand has as good a chance of any judged on his victory at Musselburgh in July. He has not really benefited from a step up in distance lately but battles on gamely and is no worse off in the handicap. Ellovamul has been successful in selling and claiming company but at least knows where the winning line is, while Night Warrior, a close second in a moderate affair at Warwick, has to give weight away all round. In a dire contest, Burley Firebrand is the modest selection.
