      Verdict

      Maniatis has an obvious chance here and is taken to score at the main expense of Romil Star and Sun Hill. The selection comes here in good form following a win in an apprentices' seller at Wolverhampton on the Polytrack last time. Maniatis handles the Fibresand equally effectively though as shown by his short head success over Romil Star here in June, for which Nick Littmoden's gelding is now 8lbs better in at the weights. Romil Star has run well since then but faces no easy task under the revised terms. College Rebel is less exposed than most after just one start so far and has to be respected, while both Court of Appeal and Sun Hill have claims at the weights on their best but have not been running up to that of late. Maniatis holds solid claims on recent form and at the weights so is hard to oppose.
