Verdict

This looks tricky with MERRYWEATHER and Mrs Upjohn closely matched on earlier running at Lingfield. The latter went on to win a novices' event at the same track but the former scored over course and distance on her handicap debut and it could pay to stick with Mick Appleby’s filly given she’s proven on the surface. Breguet Boy is not out of this either if taking to the Fibresand having beaten a previous winner when successful at Wolverhampton last time.
