Granakey can turn the tables on Mademoiselle, with Mambo Sun and Ruffie other leading players. Ron Harris has wasted no time in turning out Mademoiselle quickly in a bid to supplement her gains of three days ago here when she had the run of the race to score, with Granakey two-lengths away in third. However, she does need things to go her way as her record suggests, and a look at the revised weights reveals that she has a job on to follow up. She was in receipt of 9lb from Granakey on Monday, but now has to give the latter 2lb, and that will surely be too big a task. Granakey has gained all three of her career wins here at Southwell, and in the main has been pretty consistent so is worth supporting. Mambo Sun has had just three outings this year, but should be fitter now and is a past course winner, while Ruffie has been tried with a visor and eyeshield of late without success, but was not beaten far at Lingfield last time and may well reach the frame. However, the weights favour Granakey today, and that is good enough for us.
