Barkby showed vast improvement on his first attempt over two miles and on sand when scoring by 13 lengths at Wolverhampton on Monday and is the TEAMtalk pick in the finale. The Mark Tompkins-trained three-year-old could hardly have been more impressive and faces a steep rise in the weights so this lightly raced colt must be followed under a mere 6lb penalty. Daunted has been in good form of late but is exposed and looks vulnerable under top weight while Citrus Magic has clearly been difficult to train and may need this following a 10-month absence. Rebelle is on a handy mark compared to the turf and could reach a place while Reminiscent has held his form well over shorter and is open to further progress over this trip so rates a danger.
