Verdict

Snap, Polar Magic, Digital and Arctic Desert are a handful against the field in another tough race to call and the tentative nomination is given to Snap. The selection was a fair third behind True Night off this mark last time out, he again has conditions to suit and with a fast pace looking assured he is impossible to oppose. Polar Magic rates the main danger as he won with plenty in hand when beating Outer Hebrides last time out. However, the handicapper has taken note and his sharp rise in the weights may just find him out. Digital has dropped to a handy mark and has conditions to suit and with his yard in form he could go well at a price but he is becoming hard to win with and for that reason he is opposed. Arctic Desert was unlucky in running on a number of occasions last season and is another that is well weighted on his best form but he tends to need his first run of the season. Of the remainder River of Babylon is from a yard amongst the winners and is another with place claims but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Snap.
