In depth

Verdict

Left Nostril can come out on top over A Teen, with Hillbilly Cat, Immaculate Red and She Whispers three more to merit a small mention at least. There is not much decent recent form to go on here, and the fact that Left Nostril has actually visited the winner's enclosure makes her the obvious candidate. Phil McEntee's four-year-old was given a good ride from the front by Hayley Turner when making all to open her account here in March, and although she is fully exposed and is drawn wider today, can bounce back from a near two-month break. A Teen is not the force he once was, but has bits and pieces of placed form, while of the other trio mentioned, it could be that Hillbilly Cat, successful over the course-and-distance in the past, will prove best, although the betting market will give a good indication to his chances. Basically though, this looks best left to Left Nostril.
