The Beduth Navi has to concede weight here but apart from Grub Street, does not have a lot to beat so is the selection. The final race on the card seems to lack strength in depth, with duck eggs all over the place although King Priam has seen better days in the past and it would not surprise us in the least if he were to be in the shake-up. However, David Bridgewater has a knack of improving animals no end, and so The Beduth Navi is taken to follow up his recent demolition job on his opponents at Wolverhampton. He will no doubt start to rocket up the weights soon but can make the most of what is still a very lenient mark. At four years of age he still has the scope to improve, but his main rival Grub Street is twice as old and scraped home in an apprentice affair here recently, in what was his first victory since the year 2000.That was over a mile though and he will much more at home over this longer trip. Even so he is worth taking on again, and we intend to do so with The Beduth Navi.
