In depth

Verdict

Another tight handicap but a chance is taken on Nimello. The gelding from the Kevin Ryan yard caught the eye staying on well over an inadequate trip last time. This trip is a lot more suitable and he will be hard to beat. Sundried Tomato was a good second behind Massey last time and he should run well again under similar conditions. Middleton Grey was third in that race and there is no reason why he should reverse placings on the same terms. Penwell Hill has been in good form of late and is a game front runner. However he may be in the handicappers grip now. Warden Warren won well when defeating Indian Steppes last time out, however this looks a more competitive affair and he may struggle under his penalty. Mac's Talisman won a poor maiden last time out and he may struggle in this harder company.
