Not many of these have recent form to recommend them so Crusoe is taken to defy a penalty, Donegal Shore and Ba Clubman look best of the others. The selection made a mockery of his current mark with a five length thrashing of the 54 rated Summer Charm over course and distance last time. The runner up ran well at Lingfield in a much better race next time so the form looks solid Crusoe is a confident choice to follow up. Ba Clubman is trained by Stuart Williams and put up a much improved effort when finishing fourth to Lilly Gee in a Wolverhampton maiden. He had some much higher rated animals behind that day and must figure in the finish here. Donegal Shore continues to run well and could be picking up some more place money. Of the others Cleveland Way does have winning form and should be able top get into the action, but Crusoe could be head and shoulders above these and is taken to land the spoils
