TOTAL IMPACT and Colorus may be the two to concentrate on here with Stolt the pick of the remainder. There's little to choose between Total Impact and Colorus at the weights and both have winning form over this course and distance and are relatively consistent performers but marginal preference is for Conor Dore's runner. Total Impact arrives in good form having won three of his last four starts and he won't be easy to peg back over his optimum distance. Colorus was behind him at Wolverhampton but is a better performer at this venue as he showed when winning a tight handicap here on Wednesday. He has a live chance at the weights and must be feared following that performance. Stolt has one of the highest ratings in the field and has run respectably here in the past but Tournedos has plenty to prove at this track whilst Grudge appears to have his work cut out on these terms which makes it difficult to look beyond Colorus and Total Impact with the latter preferred.
