Acorazado came from off the pace to win over course and distance two weeks ago and has an obvious chance off just a 3lb higher mark but a draw in stall 15 is a concern so we take a chance with Majik, who is taken to defy top weight of 10st. The selection goes better here than the other Fibresand circuit at Wolverhampton and confirmed his liking for the track when a fast-finishing third (beaten half-a-length) behind Far Note. Well drawn in stall seven and off the same mark today, the four-year-old gets the nod. Joint topweight Duo Leoni lost no caste in defeat behind Bint Makbul at Wolverhampton last month but is not certain to appreciate the drop in trip to sprint distances. Gay Kelleway's Geronimo also found one too good at Dunstall Park over seven furlongs last time but will not mind the drop in trip or the return to this surface. Travelling Times is closely weighted with Acorazado on running last time and is another to consider but Majik holds solid claims and gets the vote.
