Tudor King, Batten Down and Slaney Lass are three against the field in a wide-open handicap chase and the tentative vote goes to Batten Down. The selection showed improved form on his first effort over fences when third behind Catch The Perk. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and off what looks a fair mark and with conditions in his favour he is taken to score. Tudor King rates the main danger he was a fair forth behind Trezor Prezinier in a better race last time and despite his big weight he will not be far away. Slaney Lass is another that could go well she was a fair third behind Gold Kriek last time and enters handicaps on a fair mark so could go well at a price. Of the remainder Our Man Dennis and Amptina ran as if about to hit top form last time out. They both have conditions to suit and are others to consider in a wide-open affair but for the winner we return to Batten Down.
