Nod's Nephew looks the best in at these weights and if reproducing the form he showed around this time last season should have an excellent chance of adding to his two course and distance wins. He also has the advantage of a wide draw and the benefit of a decent apprentice in the saddle. Weetman's Weigh is a very consistent AW performer who must be given every chance at these weights. The distance suits as well as the track and his draw is competitive. If Zietzig comes back to form then he should run well but his recent form is not the best of late. A lively outsider from a good draw could be Ace Ma Vahra who showed the best form of her life at this track in 2001. She has run well fresh in the past and has definite each-way claims here.
