Lago d'Oro, Northern Shadows and Hayburn Vaults look the principles in the bumper, but as usual the market will provide us with plenty of clues, and the tentative vote is given to Lago d Oro. The selection ran with plenty of promise when fourth behind Golden Odyssey last time. He is sure to be suited by this longer distance, and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Northern Shadows hails from a yard that has a good record in this sphere, and this well-bred sort is worth noting in the market. Hayburn Vaults is the other to catch the eye as he could be open to further improvement after showing a modicum of ability on his sole start to date. But he has not been seen for 327 days and he may need the run, so unless there is significant market support for any of the newcomers, we will side with Laga d'Oro.
