True Rose, Vidi Caesar, Hombre and Harem Scarem are the ones to concentrate on and we will nominate True Rose. The 8-year-old from the Jim Turner yard was a fair fourth behind Midlem Melody last time, and that form has since been franked. With his young amateur Richard Wakeham taking off a handy 7lbs, he looks the one to beat. Vidi Caeser rates the main danger despite top weight and he was a fair fifth behind Cruise Leader last time. But that was over a longer trip and he is not sure to be suited by the drop in distance. Hombre is well in on his best form and he is another that could go well but his best form is also over a longer trip. Harem Scarem is well-weighted on his best efforts, but he is out of form at present so is opposable, and for the selection we return to True Rose.
