Emerging Star, Moonlit Harbour, Toejam and Mr Lear look the ones to concentrate on here, and we will side with the Mick Easterby-trained gelding Moonlit Harbour. The selection was well behind Meggies Gamble last time out, but the drop in trip is sure to suit and in what looks a fairly moderate race he is taken to score. Emerging Star rates the main danger as the 4-year-old from the George Moore yard has run well against some fair sorts in defeat of late. However, he has been let down by his jumping at a vital stage, so is opposable for that reason. Mr Lear is from the bang in-form Richard Fahey yard, and although he has shown very little to date, he is clearly thought of as being a capable sort and he will be interesting if he is supported in the market. Toejam has shown a modicum of ability but has yet to prove that he sees out this trip, so we are happy to stick with Moonlit Harbour as our choice.
