A small field but nevertheless an intriguing contest here. Of the quartet, Noel's Pride looks to be exposed and the winner should come from the other three. If first-time out strike rates are anything to go by, then Len Lungo's pair would have the edge over Peter Monteith's Hugo De Perro, who will love the ground, and so it should pay to look to the top two for the winner. Full Irish comes here on a four-timer and has some important course form behind him, but the class horse of the race is Freetown. He can go well fresh, will relish both the ground and the stamina test, and the 3lbs being claimed by Bruce Gibson will help him outclass his rivals here.
