An open contest with question marks over plenty of these and the TEAMtalk vote goes to top weight Inn Antique. Not seen out since being beaten at Newton Abbot in June, the six-year-old has some good form on soft ground to call upon, and despite perhaps being exposed, he may still be good enough to win a race like this off his current mark. The major threat should come from Beat The Heat. Jedd O'Keefe's gelding ran a cracker in a much better race at Wetherby the other week and should be on the premises here. A very interesting runner is Kingsdon. Formerly trained by Richard Hannon, the gelding has won six times on the flat including three with cut in the ground. Now with Jimmy Fitzgerald, he should be well schooled and give a decent account of himself. Lord Pierce has the ability to win a race like this, but has suffered from breathing problems and is best watched until he proves he is over them. The former Irish runner Catch Them All is an unknown quantity, but his form over the water was nothing to write home about, while although Tim Easterby is more than capable of getting them ready to win first time, Witch's Brew would have to step up somewhat on some uninspiring flat form to do it.
