Deja Vu, Count The Cost and You're The Man are three against the field in this wide open handicap hurdle and the narrow vote is given to Count The Cost. The selection was a fair third behind Pebble Bay last time out when doing all his best work at the finish. This longer trip is sure to suit and with the excellent Peter Buchanan taking off a handy three pounds he will be hard to beat. Deja Vu rates the main danger on his best form but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when third behind Simlet last time and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. You're The Man is another worthy of respect as he won with a little in hand when beating Tobesure last time out. However, he has a penalty for that win and this looks more competitive and he will need to improve again to score. Of the remainder Secret Drinker is better on much softer ground while Mr Christie is well-weighted on his best form but is far from consistent and for the winner we return to Count The Cost.
