raced against far side rail, made all, shaken up when pressed inside final furlong, ran on well
raced keen tracking leaders, ridden 2f out, chased winner from over 1f out, held when edged left under pressure inside final furlong
held up in 5th, never a factor
chased leaders, hung badly left and outpaced from halfway
soon with leaders, ran green when ridden from 2f out, kept on same pace
Even though there is little to go on with regard to previous experience it is difficult to ignore the claims of the Aidan O'Brien-trained Show Me The Roses, whose pedigree really is the stuff of dreams. Being by Myth, a half-sister to Minardi, she is closely related to the ill-fated Johannesburg, who won six group races during his glittering career. She is unlikely to represent the best value on the card but can be supported with confidence if the on-course vibes are positive. Rosehearty also has enormous potential on paper but may be seen to better effect over further in time.
