Carried Interest (IRE) Lightly-raced type who showed he doesn't mind the ground when winning at Huntingdon on his first run of the season. Well beaten in a good race last time, and the main worry here is the big weight he is set to carry.
Handyman (IRE) Won well under similar conditions at Uttoxeter in November. Disappointing effort at Exeter on his latest start, but has a chance if putting his best foot forward.
Picket Piece Former useful staying hurdler and has done quite well in a couple of recent chases. Definitely merits respect.
Rosco Has run well here over hurdles in the past, and won't mind the ground. Consistent sort who could improve still as he is relatively inexperienced over fences. Jockey booking catches the eye, so if he cuts out his mistakes he can play a big part here.
Castle Lynch (IRE) Fairly treated at weights but conditions might not be ideal, and she is prone to some bad mistakes. Others preferred.
Red Gold Half a length behind Picket Piece at Leicester recently and now gets a decent pull at the weights. Lightly-raced and makes his handicap debut here, but serious stamina doubts in this ground.
Mickthecutaway (IRE) Former useful pointer who was completing for the first time when winning at Leicester recently. Could still be well treated, but is prone to mistakes which could be a problem.
Greyton (IRE) His recent win at Wincanton was a weakish race, but he has only gone up 3lbs in the weights and he clearly loves these conditions so it would be no surprise to see him reach the frame at least.
Hamish Mor (IRE) Yet to win a race under rules, and hasn't looked like doing so lately.
Robbie's Adventure Does go well under these conditions and has been running well recently. Will run from 8lbs out of the handicap here, but could run quite well despite that.
