      Verdict

      Although Ambrosine is respected in bid for the hat-trick, she has plenty to prove off her current mark and may be worth opposing today. Most Saucy and Desert Island Disc also have something to prove at the weights so it may be prudent to give Sicily the benefit of the doubt in the first time blinkers. The daughter of Kris S has stamina to burn and has hit form at the right time for this. However, the headgear should help her to keep focused over this shorter trip today. The fitting of a visor brought about the desired effect at Redcar last time and she will be difficult to pass near the finish if she turns up for this stiffer test in the same frame of mind.
