A disappointing number of runners in this ¿30,000 listed contest consisting Minnesota, Perfectperformance and Grand Marque with the vote going to the last named. Grand Marque is an improving colt by Grand Lodge who won a Class D contest at Newbury and followed that up with a win in Class C at the same track last time out when beating Blues And Royals in convincing fashion. This is a step up in grade as it is for all the runners but Grand Marque looks one with lots of potential. Minnesota showed plenty of promise after his Bath debut to win over seven furlongs at Lingfield beating Ragged Glory but will have to show a little more to win a Listed contest. The same can be said for Perfectperformance who was exposed in Class C company at Newmarket last time after a nice win at Salisbury. He does step up to the mile though and is worthy of respect coming from the Godolphin gang. But for the winner we return to Grand Marque
