Savitsky has some solid form to his name already, and is taken to get off the mark here, while Asia Winds could prove to be the pick of the newcomers on show. Savitsky has put up two good performances, finishing placed in Newmarket maidens on both starts to date. On the second occasion, he went down by just a neck to the useful Lord Links. Neville Callaghan's colt will be suited by the step up to six furlongs and can get off the mark at the third time of asking here. Asia Winds is a speedily bred filly who represents the stable that won this race two years ago, and any market support could provide a good guide to her chances. Tim Easterby's Distant Times and Mark Johnston's Munaawashat are two other newcomers who are worthy of respect, while Smart Starprincess could also be worth a second look. Paul Blockley's filly is a consistent all weather performer who has to be respected on her turf bow. The step up in trip should suit and she should not be discounted. However, Savitsky stands out on known racecourse form and will take a lot of beating
