        Verdict

        Zabougg, Low Flyer and When Yer Ready form the shortlist in this maiden and the nomination is given to Zabougg. The selection improved from his debut to chase home Annaliesse at Redcar last time and he clearly looks to be going the right way. If he can step-up on that effort again then he can land this prize. The list of dangers is headed by Low Flyer who showed plenty of potential on her debut, but she was a bit disappointing at Newcastle last time and she looks the type who will be suited by further in time. When Yer Ready showed promose on his debut and if Harrison George goes well in the opener then that will give the form of his debut race a real boost. Joinedupwriting stepped-up on his debut to chase home Legendary Guest at Redcar last time so he is clearly going the right way and is not without a chance. However, we are happy to stick with Zabougg who looks the one to beat.
