          Verdict

          A typically open sprint handicap featuring a number of leading contenders but Full Spate caught the eye on his recent reappearance and should go well at rewarding odds. Milton Bradley's charge was in excellent heart last term winning on four occasions and ran well at Folkestone last week despite looking in need of the outing. The son of Unfuwain handles any ground and must be high on the short list following his recent sharpener. Sundried Tomato, Smart Hostess and Connect have all enjoyed a profitable all-weather campaign this winter and have to be respected with fitness guaranteed. Onlytime Will Tell ended last term in good style and is another to consider with his stable in good form but Quantica and Lincoln Dancer may need more give in the ground to show their best. Brigadore has had his problems and returns from a lengthy spell on the sidelines but has claims if fit to do himself justice and can't be ruled out in a trappy contest.
