Gerard Butler has enjoyed a return to form with his runners lately and he can pick up again with Sound That Alarm, who gets the nod over Miss Malone and Jun Fan, who make the most appeal from the rest with experience. Bollin Billy and Namir are a couple of interesting newcomers to take notes on in running for future reference. The former is related to useful sprinter Bollin Joanne and is expected to benefit from the experience today, whereas Namir is bred to get a little further and is also expected to need this. Miss Malone has been kept fit on the all weather and shapes as if she has the ability to win a race. However, it is debatable as to whether the minimum trip is absolutely ideal for her at present. Jun Fan is related to a Listed race winner in Australia and has experience of the course. He has shown a fair bit of promise in both his previous starts and can make a fist of if he has trained on. However, preference is given to Sound That Alarm on this occasion, as he has the more solid profile at this stage. The Groom Dancer gelding made a pleasing debut at Chester last July and, with his yard back amongst the winners, he will be very hard to beat it he recaptures that form today.
