A very poor contest to open the day but the booking of Jamie Spencer for Tim Easterby's Killerby Kate catches the eye. Dropped in grade, the filly appears to have a fair chance on the book and should be thereabouts. Dunaskin is another to take a step down in class and shouldn't be too far away, but it would be no surprise to see the David Barron newcomer Half Hunter go close if there is any market support for him. The same comment applies equally to Alan Bailey's Grand Lodge colt Mytton's Quest who has George Duffield in the plate.
