Savannah River might be worth chancing in this handicap with Romeo's Day and Stage Two the two that could give our selection the most to do. The 3-year-old filly has never raced at this trip before but she ran well enough when upped in trip last time at Warwick to suggest that she might be able to get home. If she sees out this trip then she could provide the value in the race. Romeo's Day was a fair third behind Vicario at Lingfield last time, but we are happy to take him on here as he has had plenty of chances and is beginning to look a little exposed. Stage Two is a well-bred colt from the Mark Johnston yard and he has to be respected. He looked as though he was going to break his duck last time at Beverley before being run out of it by Life Is Beautiful. He has yet to fulfil his potential but it would be no surprise to finally see him hit the winning trail. Bollin Annabel hails from the Tim Easterby yard and is another worth a second look in the market, but we are happy to stick with Savannah River as our idea of the winner.
