Verdict
False Economy made a winning debut over fences when beating Four Commanders at Limerick and, after scoring over hurdles there last month, ran his best race to date when third behind Flemenstar in the Powers at Fairyhouse. He'll continue to improve but a line through the winner gives LAMBRO the edge and he looks yet another for Willie Mullins. A Grade 2 winner over hurdles, he was only 3l behind Flemenstar at Naas in January and probably found the 3m1f of the RSA Chase taxing his stamina so this should prove ideal. This is by no means a two-horse race as Slieveardagh has every chance if the ground continues to dry out as he showed real battling qualities to beat Regal D'Estruval at Navan in March when Imperial Shabra was behind and he also holds Action Master on an earlier run at Listowel.
