Tardis may go well at a big price and is worth each-way support in an open nursery, with Pearl Pride, Royal Distant, and Lucayan Beauty just three more with chances. Tardis was only denied near the finish when beaten by Swagger Stick at Yarmouth a week ago, improving for the step up in trip, and off what is still a reasonable mark, can make amends from the one stall. An earlier Musselburgh maiden success showed that she has battling qualities as well, and Michael Bell's filly will relish a fight. Pearl Pride is going the right way and so nearly made all at Beverley. Not badly treated for her nursery debut, she will be there or thereabouts as will Royal Distant. John Gosden's charge has already visited the winner's enclosure when successful at Chepstow, having progressed from a decent introduction behind Bay Tree at Newbury. Lucayan Beauty gets the extra furlong needed on the evidence of her third at Yarmouth, but is beginning to look hard to place. In an open affair a small bet on Tardis may be the answer.
