Tass Heel has a 5lb penalty to carry for his win at Catterick on Saturday and, while he has to be respected, Mick Channon's gelding may find this coming too soon so we prefer to side with Academy, who gets the verdict over Acceleration. The last mentioned is trained by Sir Mark Prescott so has to warrant respect but has struggled since winning a maiden handicap four starts ago and looks opposable. Henry Island has ground conditions to suit but seems to prefer a flatter track and may not be up to the task of giving weight away all round. Taffy Dancer is a consistent performer but was again found wanting in a claimer on the all-weather last time and may again find at least one too good, a comment that also applies to Rouge Blanc. Accepting beat Academy by a length and three-quarters over course and distance earlier this month but is 3lbs worse in today and we prefer to side with Andrew Turnell's gelding, who has a good record here with one win and three placed efforts, from four starts at the track.
