Tower Hill may be good value here and he gets the nod over Brastar Jelois, Maximix and Kick And prance. The last named took time to get the hang of things before he came good in a lads race at Brighton in October. Obviously, that form is hard to equate in the context of today's race but he should have no problem in getting the trip and is worthy of a place on the shortlist in this company. Maximix was suited by a strong gallop when he won a Lingfield handicap off 58 in October and comes into the race as one that has potential for a modest contest like this. Gary Moore has a good record with similar types and it would not be surprising to see this fellow play a big part in proceedings. Brastar Jelois was a multiple winner on the level in France and will be a big threat if she has acclimatised to British racing. She is sure to be popular in the betting but does need to improve on her hurdling debut performance. Therefore, we prefer to take a chance with Tower Hill, who got the hang of things when staying on late in the day at Kempton last month. That experience will have taught him plenty and Tower Hill can give a good account of himself if he posts an improved display today.
