Joyeux Royal and Soeur Fontenail are closely matched on their run here two weeks ago. Slight TEAMtalk preference goes to the former as the latter had had the benefit of a previous run and today has a senior jockey aboard. Both should be given a stern test by Ashbury Star who is very consistent at this level, has a fine completion rate and is suited by this track. Reach For The Clouds will not have the benefit of his usual pilot here but is a capable performer on his day. If not feeling the effects of a last time out fall he should be in the shake up. The Newsman will have come on for his seasonal debut but his overall level of form looks below what is required here.
