Carlanstown and Top Chief represent Gordon Elliott and the latter is preferred of the duo if taking up this engagement after his scheduled run last night, having looked impressive on two recent winning starts before scuppered by soft ground at Limerick. Muraweh may do better now going handicapping whilst Five Rivers outran his odds when a fair second at Hexham last time. CIVIL UNREST is likely to appreciate this return to hurdles though and gets the vote. He landed a hat-trick last autumn/early winter in the style of an improved performer and looked much more like his old self when runner-up to Harrys Whim here over fences earlier this month. Let's hope he can progress again off a feasible mark returned to timber.
