Most of these have been hard to win with and it is unlikely to be the most active betting heat of the day. However, earlier results on the card could give the recent form shown by Astafort a boost of sorts and the five-year-old is given a slender vote over Spectacular and Woodwind Down, who make some appeal on the best of their form. As does Spree Vision, who ran well in a seller at Hexham last time and would not need to step up much on that effort to figure today. However, the value could lay with a small stakes investment in Astafort if he builds on, what was, a promising display over course and distance last time. The son of Kendor goes well for an inexperienced jockey and he has plenty in his favour as he tackles his appropriate trip today.
