In depth

Verdict

This looks to be a good opportunity for Knockdoo, who goes well at the track and can score from Big Wheel and Bodfari Signet. The selection looks to be very well in at these weights and is quite a versatile individual, regularly switching between hurdles, fences and the flat. Two recent efforts over course and distance have been good, and his ability to act of this ground is also a big plus, so he can take an ordinary looking race. Big Wheel has over half a stone to find with the selection on ratings at these weights. He generally runs over the minimum trip, but he does stay two and a half miles well enough, so he can give the selection most to do. Of the remainder, Bodfari Signet and Santa Lucia are likely to fight out the minor placings, with the former a regular here and that course form can see him come home in third, though our vote remains with Knockdoo.
